The Solix CDP Administration Course equips participants with the essential skills and knowledge required to effectively manage, configure, and maintain the Solix CDP environment. Through hands-on exercises, participants learn how to set up and manage data connections, configure extraction parameters, and ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle. The course also covers the configuration of target databases, storage locations, and user access controls to support secure and efficient platform operations. Participants will gain practical experience in managing storage repositories, creating and maintaining knowledge bases for organized data management, and configuring metadata repositories to support governance and discoverability. By the end of the course, learners will be able to confidently administer the Solix CDP platform, optimize system configurations, and support enterprise data management initiatives.

Participants will learn how to implement and manage role-based access controls within Solix CDP to ensure secure and appropriate access to application features and enterprise data. The course covers configuring user profiles to control application-level access, defining entity-based permissions to govern data visibility within the Solix CDP application, and implementing bottom-up security controls to restrict data access at the backend level. Through practical exercises, participants will gain hands-on experience in designing and managing a comprehensive security framework that supports organizational governance and compliance requirements.

Participants will gain an understanding of the data ingestion process within Solix CDP, including Knowledge Base (KB) population, data migration workflows, and data validation techniques. The course covers how data is collected, transformed, and loaded into the platform, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility. Participants will also learn how ingested data is organized and made available for secure access and analysis within the Solix CDP environment.

Participants will learn how to manage data access using Entity-Based Security within Solix CDP. The course covers the creation and configuration of entities, the assignment of data objects to entities, and the mapping of entities to users and user groups. Through hands-on exercises, participants will gain practical experience in implementing granular access controls to ensure users can only view and interact with authorized data.

Participants will gain an understanding of the data access and reporting capabilities available within Solix CDP. The course introduces key tools used to search, query, and analyze archived data, including Search Forms, the Reports SQL Editor, and Enterprise Business Record (EBRs). Through practical exercises, participants will learn how to retrieve information efficiently, create custom queries and reports, and leverage reporting tools to support business and compliance requirements.
